X Account and Tools!

 I am happy to announce I was able to create an X account to be able to share educational tools! The website I chose is Brilliant.org. This website has a focus on math and science with lessons that can be done everyday either individually or as a class.  X (formerly Twitter) could be used as a tool when wanting to post real-time updates about student work or school announcements, as it a great place for families to see what the school is up to and the work students are completing. Another reason would be that it provides an opportunity to teach digital literacy skills, such as responsible online behaviour, evaluating sources, and engaging in productive online discourse. I am not that familiar with X and not many schools I know use it, so personally I do not believe I would use X in my teaching career as much as I would apps like Instagram or Pinterest. Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is Alisha Saadat and I am in my third year of B.Ed with a minor in Science. I am excited to learn effective and impactful ways to utilize technology not only in my practicum placement but throughout my teaching career!  Previous experience with AI applications e.g. , ChatGPT) and how you have used them (e.g., writing assignments)? I have recently been working and trying to understand how much AI can do. Writing essays, creating an image, aiding in editing, or constructing lesson plans and rubrics, AI can help in many ways. In my second year, creating a fresh rubric from scratch was difficult for me . When I had no other option, I used ChatGPT to help me build a rubric that was vague enough that I could edit it to tailor my end goal better .
